hello, i have gotten ahold of a cab driver and have his cell. I told him i wanted to take a day trip over to Pelican Bar, leaving sometime around 10am and cruising thru a few small towns on the way and hitting some little bars checking the place out. Then Pelican bar and maybe hit Ricks Cafe on way home. Told him we didnt want to do a tour, but wanted to hire him for the day to show us around and have a fun day trip planned, and he came back with No Problem, i got you covered. His prices are reasonable. Looking for anyone who would like to do this with us to come and enjoy a fun day and be back for supper at CSA. I am not sure what it will all run but i would say 200 dollars would cover you and your wife for the whole day. I just feel by reading a lot of messages that the tours really rush you thru the day and dont get to hang out to much and i just really want to see Ricks and Pelican bar. Not so much the Falls so the tour is out for us. Please feel free to chime in and let us know what your thinking. We are very open for suggestions also, but think this would be a fun day. Maybe get five couples or something.
