We are originally from mobile. We live in Haleyville now. My husband is a coach so we move around a bit.

You will be "wowed". We actually stayed at a "R" resort with our son a few years back and had the same scenario where nobody talks to anyone-you definitely won't find that at CSA!

Hubby and I are from New York not too far from New Jersey depending upon where in Jersey you are. We're mid-way between NYC and Albany!

We book our trip when the rates for the next year come out, we will be paying for 2014 before we go on this trip. it's the only way I can get on that See You Later bus with out crying.

Usairways has changed our flight times alittle bit too, checking every so often is really good advice dirtleg. Really hoping their merge with AA doesn't cause proublems.

Hello fellow June'rs! My fiance and I will be celebrating our wedding and honeymoon at SA........we'll be there from 6/07 - 6/22. Can't wait to see you guys there, it's coming up fast!

We are right across the Hudson river from NYC.

Coming back home May 30- June 6th...stayed for the fist time about this time last year. Looked at going somewhere new
(St. Lucia), but just couldn't leave Couples. I know it was the best choice, would probably have regretted the whole trip if i left Couples and Jamaica.

Cant wait... did not know that booking Couples trips would have repeat symptoms of incontinence and exacerbation of hysteria. Thought it was a first time only thing.

The one love pub crawl is a bar crawl, hosted by Lenbert. The ride is free, just tip him. It takes you to about 6 bars where you can buy drinks (about $5 US a drink no need to exchange money). Lenbert will pick you up in lobby around 2:25 and have you back around 6:30, just after sunsets. His contact info is bananaznegril@hotmail.com He was really quick at getting back to us. There are reviews on TA. We are going on Wed the 12th. and can't wait it sounds like so much fun!!!!!

Wow, what a fun group. My wife and I are looking forward to our CSA visit. We arrive 6/7 and depart 6/14. This will be our first time to a Couples resort, and based on everyones comments, it will not be the last.

Does anyone know of any good Reggae venues in the area or is it more fun to enjoy the nightlife on resort?

Hi!

I'm so glad I found this thread! My fiance Bryan and I will be on our way to CSA June 10th-17th to celebrate our honeymoon! We've never been to a Couples resort, or to Jamaica ..Needless to say, we're extremely excited!!

I've been briefly reading through this thread, it seems like everyone going loves to have fun Does anyone have pointers or any 'must know' information that you'd be willing to share? I can't wait to start booking excursions and finding out what all Jamaica has to offer. We're hoping there is still availability with most excursions, as we just booked yesterday (We're procrastinators and couldn't choose where to go!) lol.

So hubby and I are now signed up with Lenbert for the Pub Crawl on the 12th! And it gets better - a couple we met at the Repeaters Dinner last year are coming back for the same week as us-they're staying June 11th through 16th. Now I have a countdown clock too (if it shows up)!!!

Here's a fun tip: ask folks at the gate and on your plane to MoBay where they are staying, it is fun to meet people headed to Couples (sometimes even to CSA!) on the way down and either share your experiences or learn about theirs. Gets the vacation started even before landing. You will be surprised how many folks you run into that are headed to Couples.

Ok....my cray cray husband switched us back to SA. So can you add us to the list for June 1 - June 7th? Is anyone doing a OL Crawl that week? SO want to experience it!!!

BKsullivan - best wishes on your wedding. Try all the soups and don't over plan. One of the great joys of a Jamaican vacation is just slowing down and enjoying the day as it happens.
