no neither my future wife darcy our my self james ( fuller will be our last name) have never been accully darcy has never been out of the counrty and only out of the state of new york a couple times. I can honestly say for both of us we are really excited to go. one thing we wanted to ask anyone who has been before is if any one has scuba dived and if so is it worth the time to get the certification?

Hey Dana and Cindy. Sucks that we will be leaving for Louisiana when ya'll get in but enjoy anyway. We know ya'll will sha.

Let's start a thread telling our names, where we are from and the dates we will be at Swept Away so we can plan a MEET AND GREET. This way we can coordinate a date that will be able to meet the most people. We think it will be a blast and can not wait to get HOME to Jamaica. Also tell what number trip this will be for you and if there is a special occasion while you are there. We'll start it and see how it does.


1. Harry and Gladys Corbin,Kentucky Sept.29-Oct.10 Late celebration of our Anniversary

Loveinjamaica, the meet and greet is September 30th at 2:30pm at the swim up bar. Someone else already figured the date that the most people will be there. So, put it on your schedule. Time is ticking away slow, but the end of September will be here soon.

2. Mike and Margi, Prospect, KY, Sept. 29th-October 6th. Celebrating our 12th anniversary

guess what Dan and I decided to get married while in Jamaica - we will be wedded on October 5, 2010 at 11am, I would love to have you in attendance. I am excited more then ever now. I cant keep my mind from spinning. Its going to a beatiful wedding. I think we are leaning toward carribean casual. His fisrt but not mine, a airy sundress should be fine. What do you think?

Cindy, I am so excited for you! I asked my husband if he wants to go to a wedding while we are there and he was really excited and said yes. So, we will definitely be at your wedding. I think a flowy sundress would be perfect. Keep it a light color so it's not competing with the gorgeous surroundings for the pictures. I have heard that the wedding coordinator there is the best and you shouldn't worry about anything because she handles it all. I'm so happy for you guys. Let me know if there is anything I can do to help out. I wish you guys were going to be there for the meet-n-greet on the 30th, but we'll have to meet up before the wedding sometime. I am contemplating a Sarong?? But we want to keep it simple I have been previously married but this is Dan's first marriage. So being a devout bachelor for 48 years - we wanted to skip the frills! He wants to wear a tropical shirt and shorts Hey it works for me that is what I would expect on a beach. But still in keeping with the traditional toast, and cake cutting. I am so excited I can't hardly sleep. We can plan another meet and greet or Sunday brunch whatever....we will be arriving Saturday afternoon as I recall approx 1-2 pm.

We are flying out of Atlanta, Ga. on Sept. 29 and scheduled to arrive in MJB about noon--we can hardly wait. Where are you guys flying out of and when do you get to MBJ? Are you as excited as we are? Looking forward to meeting you!

What about trying to match your sarong with his shirt? That might be to corny for you, but it would look cool in the pictures. Also, just make sure his shirt and your sarong don't clash. It's your wedding, so do what you want. Maybe we could meet up on Sunday. This is gonna be great!
