The week leading up to Memorial Day...

Its official...the hubby and I will be returning to Jamaica for the 3rd time and staying at Couples Swept Away from the 23rd - the 27th!! I noticed some of the room categories were not available for those days, so does that mean the resort may be hitting its full capacity on that week?? Oh well, the more the merrier!!!

Welcome to the club! We'll be there that week, also, and looking forward to returning home for our 10th visit.

Randymon has a posting (near the top of the main message board) about room availability. Blocks of rooms are "loaned" to TA's and Couples Specialists for their various campaigns and over time unsold rooms are turned back to Couples for redistribution; if you don't see your category as being available, simply contact Couples directly by phone and they'll fix you up.

Hubby and I are returning for our 3rd visit to CSA May 19-27th! We love to explore so will be heading up to the cliffs for some drinks one day, going on the One Love Bus Crawl one day and maybe YS falls. A day at CN for sure, We might even try and see some live music down the beach. Cant wait. The more the merrier is right so anyone who wants to tag along with us lets meet up for sure. This will be my 12th trip to the Island!

This will be our 3rd trip to CSA and Jamaica - can't wait - we'll be there 5/19 thru 5/29. What's the One Love bus crawl?

It is a bus that picks you up at your Hotel. They only go on Wednesdays as I have been told. They take you for a few hours and stop at several local bars. It should be a fun way to see some local spots. No charge you just tip the driver!

The OneLove Bus is operated by one of the proprietors out on WestEnd Drive, rebranded One Love Drive by the local businesses a few years back. They schedule a "crawl" every week, and kind of rotate between the smaller bars/restaurants along the Cliffs. The bigger clubs (like Rick's) aren't included... they certainly don't need the help, nor do they seem interested in helping the little guys.

THought I would bump this thread up a bit. Its getting closer all!! I can taste my Red Stripe Light and Jerk Chicken already! Cant wait to sing with Ultimate Chocolate in the Piano lounge!!!

jbrooks - I'm with you there!!

My favorite part of CSA is......everything! LOL I enjoy our breakfasts and playing in the ocean. Soaking up the sun on the beach and having a casual lunch at the grill followed by more lounging by the pool or sitting at the pool bar. THEN making our way back to the room for a luxorious nap and getting dressed up for dinner. Ahhh Jamaica....

So who is all planning on doing the One Love Bus on Wed the 23rd? ANy others?? Lembert said if there were 8 or more he would take the bus out on anohter day besides Wed. Just checkin!!!

Tangles (Mary right?) I just now put two and two together - are you flying into Chicago on the 18th from IA? We booked a park and fly at the Raddison (used to always use Holiday Inn but they were not particpating on the sleep, park fly website this time). Going in on the 18th (my birthday - yay!

) and this time around booked a room on the back of the trip as well since we get in so late. Two years ago, hubby was so tired that we somehow got off on 57 from 94 and realized we were going the wrong way a half hour too late. lol Look forward to meeting you!

The one love bus picks up at 2:00 on Wed. It goes to four or five local Jamaican bars for site seeing and drinks. It is totally free to ride on the bus. TIps taken by driver at the end of the trip.
