Thread: April amigos 2012

If any of you that are headed back to your resort of the heart,during the month of April, hang in there. No, the time hasn't really slowed down. I know what it feels like. But trust me, time is still just time.

For many of us, we can see the prize. It's ever so close, but alas, it is also ever so far away as well.
If we close our eyes, sit back, deep breath in, hold it, keep holding, okay breath out slowly.
We can now see the light blue skies overhead,sense the gentle breeze, and everywhere around you, is bathed in double bright from the glowing orb that is so far from this planet, but it still warms our hearts.
We can hear subtle sounds of voices coming from the lobby, main dining room, down on the beach. We scan every corner of the huge wide open lobby, looking for others that may have just arrived, or due to arrive soon. Hugging and kissing and laughing and smiling until it feels as though your face will just fall off. Then more hugs and more kissing. That first moment as we have gotten off the van, our luggage is on the floor. as we transition from the world of &^%$(@@#++"&"" and very far away, to the world that is cast before us and we have just entered into it.
It is a place of beauty, tranquility, salty air, breezes and the sounds of contentment echoing from place to place.

First moments coming up for us soon. That's a good thing.

We are newbies to CTI, April 21-25 then on to Mobay for a relatives wedding. Looking forward to CTI. See you on the Rock

Bruce and Becky. First trip to Couples. April 14 to the 20th to celebrate our 15th anniversary. Sounds like we made the right decision.

Add Bruce and Becky ... 14 - 20 . See y'all there. This counting down is rough!

It's been a long countdown from last November. But it looks as though the end is near. We leave next Thursday. That still leaves 5 full days. No problem.

The April Amigos will be filtering in over the next week or so. Come join us on the rock. Games, prizes, and surprises.

Hello!

My husband and i will be arriving on the 21st for our one-year anniversary (and the honeymoon we never took!) We booked with the early special two weeks after our wedding last year, and I've been counting down the days ever since! I think I just might have the nerve (After a couple drinks) to visit the island!

My wife and I will be there Apr 24th through May 7th

Like a few of us, you are arriving later than many of the Amigos. Trust me that you will regret every day not trying the Island. David and Elizabeth, our close friends, arrive on the 21st also. We arrive on the 22nd. Feel free to introduce yourselves to any of us and we can tell you more about the island experience. Also, Crabracer and others will be still there, so ask around for them. As for the Island, ONCE YOU GO, YOU KNOW!

Couting down the days now!! Can't wait to meet everyone. Is there trivia on the island? Does the resort give away rum like Superclubs used to?

I know they used to do music trivia, etc. around the main pool and some during lunch. Do not remember much organized on the island...They will probably cancel it next week knowing you are coming and your competitiveness, Mrs. JamaicanTexan!
