Thread: Heading to paradise Feb 2012

This will be our first time to any Couples resort. I look forward to relaxing in paradise and meeting some wonderful people. We dont have set dates yet but will be traveling during our coldest month here in northern Minnesota, Feburary. While others here will be wearing there long johns, snow mobile suits and sliding around on the icy roads in -30 below zero temps we will be soaking up the sun and having the time of our lives.

Anyone else planned for the month of Feb 2012? It sure would be great to get to know some people before hand.

Hey There! We are fellow Minnesotans, but from the Twin Cities. We are trying to plan a trip to CTI or CSS in Feb. of 2012, as well. We went to CSS this past February and LOVED it. We had so much fun, we decided we wanted to try to go to Couples again in Feb. 2012. We are leaning more towards CTI, as it will be something new. When in February are you planning on going?

January 27 thru Feb 3 is our dates to TI. We are driving down from Thief River Falls to Minneapolis to fly out (our dogs daycare is in Princeton). This will be our first "real" vacation together in the 9 years we have been together. Neither him or I have ever been out of the country let alone Jamiaca. We did alot of looking and researching places we would love to go but for some reason we kept coming back to the first place we looked at...TI. David is excited for the ability to just lay on the beach, relax and enjoy the time there. But me, I am excited to meet people, take beautiful photos, experiencing all inclusive & get a great spa treatment.

What is your favorite thing s about the resorts? What dates do you have in mind? Id love to get to know you guys if you do end up there on the same dates. Minnesota to Jamaica...what could be more opposite that that?

We are planning on returning to CTI around February 3 to celebrate our 5 year anniversary; we were married at CTI (then known as Couples Ocho Rios). We are looking forward to seeing all of the changes that have taken place over the past 5 years. We are also coming out of the cold, next door in Wisconsin. We have traveled to Mexico twice in the past 5 years, and we are looking forward to returning to the extreme relaxation and friendly atmosphere of Jamaica.

We just found out our babysitters (AKA: Grandma and Grandpa) will be out the state in February, so we will actually be going to the first week of March. I think we are going to try CTI this time, but LOVED CSS when we went last time. The Couples resorts are awesome and I'm sure you will love CTI, as the service and Couples feel has got to be the same at all the resots. That's what we're banking on! Enjoy your trip!!

We will have to keep in touch. I will be back first so I can show you our photos before you leave. Lets keep in touch during our packing process and all. Congrats on the upcoming vacation. I have never wanted winter to come fast considering the below zero weather we get. But I sure hope it hurrys this year! Jamaica come soon. ~tara

We will be there Feb. 24th 8 from Nebraska and 2 from South Dakota. It will be nice to leave the cold behind!! 7 months and 26 days!!

CSS for three nights, then onto CTI for another 7!!!
Feb 2nd through the 12th.

Tom & Beverly come to CTI every February from Michigan and will be there 2/11 - 2/28. You will love it there. The staff is second to none! We were married there in 2003. Just read the board for tips. One thing we like is that it's small compared to some of the mega-resorts you'll see on the bus ride in. Everyone remembers you and you feel so welcome. Your every wish will be met. The energy of LOVE permeates that place. The views are spectacular. Geez, I could go on and on and on...

Hey minnesota!! we are from st cloud area and will be going to cti for our first time feb. 4th to 11th can not wait to get out of this cold weather!!!

Hello there Dan and Lisa! We have family in St Cloud and surrounding areas. Dave is originally from Isanti area and I from Hastings so we are city people also. Living up here in very northern MN now is different and we always say wed love to move to St Cloud area someday closer to our families again.
this is our first vacation to CTI also. As a matter of fact this is our first vacation. We started the countdown at i believe close to 300 days and today we are at 30 days to go. I am very excited but nervous as well. We will be coming into minneapolis on the 3rd to head back north and you will be flying out on the 4th. Just missed one another. I hope you have a wonderful time and if you guys like the vacation maybe we could plan another time and get some of us MN couples to go together. Happy Holidays Dan and Lisa!

Tara & dave, to bad all us minnesotans could not arrnage a great minnesota get together at cti!!! well there is always next year fo coursemy wife has another vacation on her mind..for our wedding anniversary LOL.

My wife Sandy and I will be there from Feb 25th to March 3rd. We have been to Jamaica once before to Montego Bay. First time to a Couples resort, we are hoping we will enjoy it!

We'll be there 2/27 - 3/4. We also picked the coldest time for Buffalo weather.
This is our first Couples trip and we're really excited.
Hope to meet some of you there.
