May 11th - 18th Scott and Angie from Missouri First trip to CTI going for our 15th wedding anniversy

70 DAYS!!!! I've already switched over to Red Stripe... I call it "conditioning"! We are so ready to be naked in the Jamaican sun. Anybody else?

My husband and I will be there May 9th-16th, and celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary. First timers....any suggestions?

We will be there May 15-22 our 25th too, 4th time just enjoy relax and drink!!!!!

A couple suggestions I'll make:
1. You're on vacation, relax, take things as they come! If you've never been to Jamaica, be ready for the relaxed attitude. Nobody is in a rush.
2. If you're contemplating trying the Isle, go on your first or second day, don't wait! That way, if you like it, you've got the rest of your trip to enjoy it, and if you don't you've gotten it out of the way!
3. Once you're checked in, and your bags are in your room, head for the pool grill for something to eat, and take the 5pm resort tour.

Yes...go to the island your first day!

Our flight does not get in until 2pm, so we may not get to do the tour at 5pm.
Definitely going to the Isle at least once, and we are looking forward to being very relaxed and in no hurry to do anything.
But make it to the excursions on time!

We have a deluxe ocean are the views obstruced any? Would it be better to upgrade to a premier ocean? Thanks

First timers to a Couples Resort. TJ and I (Lisa) got married 10 years ago at Hedo III, but since it shut down we are celebrating our 10 Year at CTI! So Excited to go! We will be there May 17th-23rd. Hope to get to meet some new people and call this our Anniversary home.

Dave-Wanda, we had a deluxe ocean on our first trip, and the best way to describe the view was "semi-obstructed." We were on the 4th floor of building 4, and had a couple palm trees between us and the ocean. You could still see the water, and it was a very nice view.
This is the view looking pretty much straight out from our balcony:


So really, you still get a nice view. We did go up to a premier ocean for this trip, we'll see how we like the difference in the view. Maybe next time, we'll go back to the deluxe ocean...

Either way, you don't spend a lot of time in your room...

Dave-Wanda...Thank you for the congrats! We are looking forward to this getaway, and meeting new people of course!

Jason...thank you for adding us to the list! We will not be wearing Star Trek gear...but Star Wars gear would have been considered...Hahaha
We suspect the resort staff and other couples know who the 'newbies' are though.

We will be arriving in the late afternoon of the 9th.
Sure we will see each other sometime at CTI! Yay, for all of us, that get to go!

I believe we will be there!! 5/16-5/22. It is our first trip to Couples and Jamaica! I cannot wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ok so this will be our first Trip to CTI as well as Jamaica. May 11th - 18th anyone going to be there at this time thats been there before want to hook up to give us a 5 cent tour an what to do and skip? Wifes plan is to be on the beach 24/7 and that is fine with me to its our 15th anniversy and looking forward to a kid free vacation. I love em dont get me wrong but its time to relax !!!
