Oops, my apologies. Im my post above, I meant if Kristen's dad wants in to the fishing trip, she did ask first. Kristen, I think you're there already. We can work it out there, I guess. That said, Bob is excited and ready to go, the meetup Sun at 6:30 at the main bar sounds great.

Claude, we are arriving at MoBay around the same time (11:45 on 12/17) and Brian & Debbie (UpperMichigan) will be arriving around then, too! My guess is we will all be on the same bus. Can't wait! Our flight is through Detroit, but we are starting in Albany really early in the morning! edited: Brian and Debbie are now going to Negril--see you in the lounge! Have fun in Negril!

We just found out tonight we are going to CTI as our Couples Secret Rendezvous. We stayed at Couples Negril in 2010. Looking forward to another wonderful Couples experience and meeting some great new friends.

How often does it actually rain there?? I looked at the 10 day out look for when we go (leave on 3/19) and it's going to be raining the entire time!? I may cry if we can't get married outside

We just found out we are assigned to Couples Tower Isle. ( we are doing Couples Secret Rendezvous)
We will be there from March 23rd to the 30th.

Don't pay attention to the weather report....everyday it says it will rain and everyday I am looking at a big bright sun on my Weather Gadget.....it is very accurate...Jamaica is very mountainess..so it is sorta like Colorado in the summer...you can always plan on a brief afternoon shower and then the sun comes back....no worries!!!!!

Hi MissouriCouple,

I've only been to Jamaica once before (last year in March), but hopefully some of the many-timers will chime in as well.

Last year I also looked at the weather from home, saw that there was rain forecast almost every day, and stressed big time! It turned out that it only rained once during the week we were there, and that was at night. I didn't even know it until I got up and saw that the balcony was wet.

From what I gather, it does rain sometimes in the spring, but it's usually short showers and it's not cold. If there's no thunder, people stay on the beach and call it "liquid sunshine", or I guess that's a good time to get a drink at the bar.

I've also heard that Couples is great about shifting wedding times a bit if it's raining at your appointed hour. No personal experience with that one, but I never saw an indoor wedding at CTI!

I am hoping for good weather as well. Last year watersports were "red flagged" for wind on most of our days, and only one snorkeling trip and one catamaran ride went out that week. They didn't open the island until late most days. We still had a great time, and like I said, it didn't rain--so there was nothing that would have spoiled your wedding. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you. Let us know if you need any help! Bob and I will be there two days before you arrive.

Hi everyone. I'm almost packed. Bob hasn't started, but it never takes him long. :-)

On the Main Board there is a thread about folks donating school supplies to the Three Hills Primary School near CTI. (Check it out here if you like: http://couples.com/mb/showthread.php...ust-Foundation )

I brought pencils last year, and this year I'm bringing 6 new backpack/messenger bags from the clearance luggage section at Target. If anyone else is running last minute errands and wants to help the school, that's one item I know a lot of the children could use!

2 more sleeps and we're on our merry way!

We just found out today our secret rendezvous will be at CTI. We will be there 3/24-3/30. So excited, we can't wait. It will be our second time to Jamaica but first couples experience.
