Since we returned home from our beautiful wedding and honeymoon, I just can't stop looking at our wedding pictures and video - everything was so gorgeous and carefree!
Both Debbie Hall and Kenisha at CN made the planning process so easy for our noon wedding on the beach. We had a large group of 44 attending the wedding and staying at the resort, but everyone at CN was so accommodating so the group size was never an issue.
The majority of our guests arrived Thursday so our first "activity" was the beach buffet and bonfire Thursday night. "The Thunderbirds" provided the entertainment - the most fabulous steel drum band you will ever see!
Friday night we held our "rehearsal dinner" at The Heliconia Grill. Tyrone was our maitre d and was beyond accommodating and helpful.
My bridesmaids, my mom, and I all had hair, makeup, and nail appointments at the salon -- Novlette was absolutely wonderful and did a beautiful job.
Our ceremony was held at noon on the beach. I had made raffia fans decorated with green & pink ribbons to help with the heat. We also requested that the resort have bottles of cold water available for the guests.
We decided to forgo the cake & champagne reception in the garden after the ceremony in favor of more time for wedding photos (the latest we could have lunch with our large group was 1:30pm). Following the ceremony, our guests were escorted to the pool & grill bars while the fabulous Stacey Clarke took our wedding photos. We had a group lunch at Cassava Terrace (where Davon even gave us a very nice toast!), after which we had our cake served to us and we made our champagne toasts in the restaurant. At 4pm, the entire group embarked on the catamaran cruise - I changed into a white bathing suit and a veil and my husband and I "took the plunge" by jumping off the side of the boat!
I have attached a few photos here. If you're interested in seeing all of them (or our video from the resort videographer), you can view them on our share site: http://megandbillfeeser.shutterfly.com/, password: jamaica. I definitely recommend both Stacey Clarke and the resort videographer - they both did a beautiful job.
And finally, if you're considering trashing the dress - DO IT! The pictures are gorgeous! We got in the pool after the ocean to help get off some of the sand... and the dress is at the cleaners now!
Meg & Bill-
Your pictures are BEAUTIFUL!!! Thank you for sharing!! I LOVE "TRASH the DRESS!!!!" Those are by far my favorite pictures!!! They are so romantic and personal!!!
You were a gorgeous bride!!! Congrats to you both!!!
Meg,
You can completely put my mind at ease if that 17 minute video is the one the resort did. It really was nicely done!
We are getting married at CSA in a little over a week and now I am completely secure in our decision to use the resort videographer.
Everything was really beautiful.
Thank you for sharing it!

My decision has been confirmed to use the resort videographer. Your video was sooo beautiful and romantic. It brought tears to my eyes and I could really see how happy you two were. The wedding in its entirety was just lovely. Congratulations!!
Thank you so much for sharing. I just booked Couples Negril and I am so excited!!!! Thanks for sharing your big day sch. I was thinking of doing something similiar but doing having the wedding later in the for sunset. We want to party at night? What night would recomment for night party/reception? we LOVE to dance. I am also seriously considering Stacey Clark and your photos confirmed her how pretty the pictures are. You are very a pretty bride. =)

Meg- this is REALLY helpful and you looked FAB....Can I ask you a question? Did you change into another dress after you 'trashed' the lovely one in the pics? Or what would you suggest on that score?
Your ceremony looks beautiful! Did you do everything through the resorts wedding coordinator? what was your budget for this? i am looking at doing something similar at CSA.
I enjoyed viewing the video of your wedding. We used the same officiant (sp) and I was so emotional that I really don't remember all the words I said but as you guys were saying your vows everything came back to me. Plus its cute how he says your name megan. Congrats to you both!
Woops! Haven't been on here as much now that the wedding is over, but to answer your questions:
@iceicebritney and @sharlie - Everything was through Kenisha, the coordinator at the resort. I just had the basic wedding package and I think we ended spending about $1600 in extras (dress pressing, flowers, steel drum, videographer)
@lisa2001 - I believe the resort videographer was $400. I think Stacey's option was a video slideshow of our pictures - I have a mac and was able to make one myself! The resort videographer and Stacey work together really well so I was happy with what they did.
@sharlie - We decided to skip the cake & champagne reception in the garden so that we could have more time getting our pictures with Stacey. We ended up just having champagne and slices of cakes served to us during lunch. We did, however, each grab a chocolate from the dessert spread to smash in each others' faces for the pic and video.
For our "night reception" we all just went to the disco that evening (Saturday) and had our own dance party! We also all went on the catamaran cruise at 4pm.
@CSAbride0516 - I had Stacey for 2 hours. She came to my room before the ceremony, stayed through, and then we had about an hour and 15 minutes with her for pics, which I felt was a good amount of time.
@amcope15 The bridesmaid dresses were from Victoria's Secret - $70!
