We love CSA and find the beach there has been the best of any all inclusive we have ever visited. So, my question is this. On our last visit, late October 2011, there was a tropical depression at sea and the CSA beach got quite narrow. Has it recovered to the broad beach we are used to seeing, or has it lost some of it's size for now?
Oh, and a shout out to the WATERSPORTS staff. Without question, the best in the business! Tell Davian (the faking Jamaican - can't sing Shaggy) Bill and Sue miss him and CSA.
We were at CSA this past February, and the area of the beach toward the middle of the resort (in front of the beach bathroom if you remember where that is) was very shallow. Other than that, the beach has recovered nicely.
Just got back from CSA. The beach has come back. Not as big as in the past but plenty of room for everyone.
Will try to post photos.
Life is good :)
We were there in October, also. That weather really beat up the beach, didn't it? I've heard from various visitors to SweptAway that the beach has recovered, as it always does. We've seen it really narrow at the Beach Bar. We've seen it so broad at the south end that you could walk out to the ropes and be hip deep.
Bottom line is, the ocean giveth, and the ocean taketh away.... as you know, the beach you have on your first day is not the beach you leave... just the way it is.
Looking forward to May 19!
