CN Scuba Qs
Anyone who has been scuba diving at CN I need some help!
The course they provide allows you to scuba dive at their resort presumably (please correct me if I'm wrong).
Does going scuba diving cost any $?
Do they have night scuba diving? We did night snorkeling last time we were there a few weeks ago and it was awesome, totally worth the $35. Wondering if they do night scuba and how much the additional charge is?
Thanks for the help!
The resort course allows for one free shallow dive. Additional dives are $50 per person (unless you are open water certified or above). If you are open water certified all day dives are included, including gear. Night dives are typically $50 per person (may have gone up) if there are enough people interested.
A1. The resort course is included and allows ONE free introductory dive <35ft. If you have a SCUBA certification (i.e. PADI, NAUI, etc), then all dives are free with the EXCEPTION of night dives.
A2. If you choose to continue to dive, but do not want to obtain a PADI certification at the resort, each additional escorted resort level dive is $50 per person.
A3. If you choose to obtain a PADI certification at the resort, it is approximately $350 USD, but check with the dive shop to be sure.
A4. Yes, CN has night diving when there are ample number of divers to put together the dive. The night dive is $50 USD per person.
Recommend you go to the FAQ's and check out the link to the medical questionnaire. You must have a dr's clearance if you answer yes to any of the questions on the form. The clearance form must be signed/stamped by a doctor.
The dive shop is open from 8:30 - 3pm. Anyone there at the dive shop can provide you all the info for the resort course, etc.
I think they need a minimum of 4 people to do the night dive. leoconner is correct in her post with all of you information as well.
