You might not want to do it at an all inclusive resort, but at CN you can buy beer (and other stuff) at a gas station across the street that has a small convenience store. I love grabbing a beer...

There is an Office of Nature about 1/4 mile north of CN. The original Office of Nature is a bit further, about 1/2 mile north of CN. Be prepared for ongoing sales pitch for just about everything.

My experience at CN is that the room phones can be a bit sketchy. Calls to the front desk are hard to hear, so I can only imagine an international call could be worse.
