My husband and I are officially less than one week away from arriving at CN (we are there November 1st - 8th) and we are so excited!!! We got married on August 28th and although our wedding was wonderful, it has been a rough year for us and we can't wait to finally get away! Any last minute suggestions on things to make sure we bring or anything to be sure to do?? Neither of us have really been anywhere like this and we are so anxious Any suggestions or tips would be greatly appreciated!
when you arrive, make a dinner reservation for that night or the following at the reservation restaurant. also make a reservation for the cat cruise. find out when orientation is - it is helpful and not long.
next, put on your bathing suit and go to the pool/beach. be sure to remember this route, as this will be the hardest thing you'll have to do for the duration of your stay.
if you're interested in AN, try that early.
otherwise, the key is to not overplan, relax and enjoy!!
Have a good time....don't try to do too much off the resort. There is so much to do on the resort and you can get involved or do nothing, no one will pressure you. We are not far behind you, but you will be gone by the time we get there so leave some fun for us! Congratulations and best wishes for MANY happy years together.
First off. Congratulations on your marriage. I hope that you will spend many happy years together.
You're about to go on a most magnificent adventure of your young lives. It will have a most positive effect for each of you. If this were a commercial on TV, the music would be playing in the background....lighthearted, up beat, strings, and brass (Disneyesque excitement) ...Music comes down just a bit and the camera comes in for a TCU(tight close up), happy couple wide eyed, huge grin, smile, looking around in wonderment. Camera pulls back to reveal the grounds of Couples Negril, Lots of smiling happy faces walking here and there. Laughter can be heard in the background. Then we hear the Announcer. In his rich deep mellow voice: "It's not a dream. You're journey begins today". (some cheering in the background) "Yes, Newlywed23, this is your life". As announcer goes on the tell everyone all about the fabulous time this couple is going to have, camera slowly dissolves to black. Music to fill. There are not enough adjectives to describe your experience. I'm sure you will find a way to express your happiness.
As you embark on your first visit to Couples, we leave in 14 days for our 30th visit to Couples. All the feelings of , wonder, apprehension, anxiousness, will fade like a cooling breeze that brushes your bare shoulder on a sultry sexy night. We are every bit as excited to go on this trip, as you two are.
The excitement never ends.
