    Default RIP "Buffalo Soldier" Feb 6, 1945-May 11,1981

    After visiting CN twice Iam a Bob Marley Junkie. I will reflect on his music today.
    My favorite lyric is

    "And then you give us the teachings of His Majesty,
    For we no want no devil philosophy; "

    What stands out to you...

    Respect to all

    In an abundance of water, the fool is thirsty.

    One good thing about music, when it hits you, you feel no pain.

    Judge not, before you judge yourself.

    And a big RIP to my lovely wife's Mum, who died on the very same day in 1981, when she was only in her early 40's and my wife was only 18 years old, bless her. Perhaps they are jiggin' to 'One Love' somewhere where everything is irie!

    The hub and I renewed our vowels this past March at CN. We bought new rings and I had his inscribed "One Love - One Heart - Always"

    Bob will always be part of our lives!

    The road of life is rocky and you may stumble too,
    So while you point your fingers, someone else is judging you - "Could You Be Loved"

    I'll push the wood (stir it, stir it, stir it together),
    then I blaze ya fire;
    Then I'll satisfy your heart's desire - "Stir It Up"

    Live for yourself and you will live in vain;
    Live for others, you will live again - "Pass It On"
    Stay Irie, Mon!

    All: Nice thread! I couldn't agree more! I have been to Negril in the last two years - CN & CSA - and my Bob Marley CD resides in the player most of all. Love the lyrics, music and message.

    "Sheriff John Brown always hated me, for what? I don't know"
    "Everytime I tried to plant a seed, he said kill them before they grow"

    "But while I'm gone, everything gonna be alright!"

    "You can fool some people sometime, but you can't fool all the people all the time!"

    Just to name a few!
