    Default Evening dress attire

Just curious on the differences between Resort Elegant and Elegant Casual for both the guys and ladies. Thanks

Which restaurants are they talking about? I'm not sure what the difference is, but I always wear a nice sundress in the evenings. Scott wears nice shorts with a Hawaiian style shirt or slacks if he is in the reservation restaurant.

Not sure which resort has these descriptions. CN has a very casual dress for most restaurants, with the Otaheite having a more strict dress code than the others. There the men need to wear slacks, a collared shirt, and no sandals, and ladies typically wear some sort of dress. Most people dress a little nicer for dinner, regardless of which restaurant they are planning to visit, but it's nothing over the top.

On Couples Swept Away, the Lemon Grass Restaurant says the dress code is Resort Elegant (no jacket required) while the Feathers restaurant has it as Elegant casual. Shirts, slacks and closed shoes for the gentlemen and summer dresses for the ladies. No sandals, T-shirts, shorts, jeans, sneakers, or hats are allowed. Jacket is optional.

Are these basically the same thing just phrased differently? Thanks to those who have already responded.
