    Wow... when you going?

Lots of must sees, lots of must does... but it kinda depends on what you LIKE to do.

But for a short list, make sure you do the following...

DO sign up for the Cat Cruise
DO spend an evening (or two) with Ultimate Chocolate (you'll figure it out)
DO have at least one dinner at Feathers
DO dance with your love on the beach
DO spend at least one day giving in to sand gravity
DON'T bring expectations for hurry-up, high volume service on Jamaica... its a different pace known as "Soon Come"... and its worth while getting used to!
DO pack lots of patience and respect
DON'T over-indulge... you paid a lot for this vacation... don't blow it (see our tag line, below)
    DO ENJOY!

A must do is take your wacth off, slow down, spend at least one whole day on the beach doing nothing until the sun sets.

I have to agree with everything already said! A couple additions:

DO try the soups and pizzas at Patios
DO give in to afternoon naps
DO scuba (even if you've never done it before...do the resort course)
DO make an effort to really talk to the staff members; they love to get to know guests more personally
DO have a fantastic, relaxing time!

Make sure to go to the Martini Bar above the Palms and have a drink. Also, go snorkeling even if you think you won't like it. It's so mellow, romantic, and adventurous all at the same time. And another thing to do it take a night time stroll across the property. The lighting is so romantic. It's magical. Oh, and make sure to at least walk across the street to the Sports Complex. It's huge and has a great smoothie bar with infused waters. You are going to love CSA. It is our favorite. CSA ROCKS!!!!

Ultimate Chocolate is the piano player who is one of the highlites at CSA.

The forecast in the tropics is for daily rain. Doesn't mean it will, but it might.

As for the September weather, we don't have any concrete experience. We always travel in December, but even then the forecast normally calls for rain on a daily basis. Over the last 4 years, we had a couple of quick showers during the day but nothing major. We did have some offshore weather that closed watersports activities for a couple of days in Dec 2010.

Some of the posts from the old Message Board talk about being there during a hurricane and the great care that Couples provided to them during that time. The underlying theme for all of those posts was that regardless of the weather, Couples made their stay as enjoyable and memorable as possible.

Don't worry about the weather and relax, you'll be in paradise (maybe a little damp ) and all of us will still be counting the days until we are home again.

*Make reservations for Feathers and Lemmon Grass Restaurants when you get there.
*When you snorkel get them to take you to the Mexico site. By far the best.
*Walk the 7 mile beach in the morning.
*Enjoy the fish tacos at Seagrapes.
*Have Shawn make you a chocolate martini at the martini bar over the Palms.
*Have the banana stuffed Frech toast for breakfast at Patois.
*Have coffee, pastries, and or fruit delivered to your room each morning to start your day.
*relax, relax, relax as you are in paradise.
If you must venture off resort:
    *Appleton Rum Tour
*Black River with it's Jamaican crocodiles that swim up to the boat.
*Rick's Cafe, although an overpriced tourist trap, you can say you were there and maybe even jump off the cliffs yourself or just watch the local divers do it. Bring your suit if you are brave enough.

On your very first day be SURE to wear a high level of sunscreen, and BE CAREFUL of the introductory Bob Marleys....They're VERY powerful!!

Do Drink lots of water while you're in the sun - dehydration is no fun....

Do Try different foods - just ask for a tiny bit of something you've never tried before - the wait staff at CSA is more than happy to oblige!

Do Wake up early at least once to watch the moon set over the ocean and watch the beach wake up - you'll typically hear and see some beautiful birds, horseback riders on the beach and the Watersports guys tidying up the beach. It's so quiet and peaceful....Tip - the Palms has coffee available starting at about 5:00AM. One of us will get up and get a carafe of coffee and then we sit on our balcony and greet the day....wonderful and as romantic as the evening.

Do Go across the street and try out the fitness center (try to hit it in the early morning).

Do Check out the Spa, and especially make some time for soaking in the Buddah pool. This is a serene and relaxing environment, and you can use it even if you're not having a treatment.

Do Try to go with the flow.

Do take a walk on the beach - to the left are lots of bars, smaller boutique hotels and little shops.

Do Engage with the staff - you'll find that for the most part they're very friendly and fun to get to know - this will enhance your visit!

And finallly, I'll agree with Chris - Moderation is key here - even though you're at an AI, there's no need to go crazy - there will be plenty of food and alcohol available for the duration of your stay.

We're going for our 8th stay over Thanksgiving, and these are some of the reasons we keep returning....Enjoy!!!!!!
