I love the taste of the creative blender drinks, but I also find them too sweet to keep drinking, and of course they also aren't making those at night. I love wine at home, but I didn't like the wines there, (and too much wine is a killer anyway) The white wine is way too sweet and the red wine is too warm for the day... hmm... sangria would be nice! I wonder if they'd ever make that? ...Anyway, I digress.... My husband likes gin and tonic. I found myself drinking vodka and soda with a splash of cranberry. Refreshing, not sweet, and lower calorie than a lot of choices.

If only they made Diet Ting - I love the taste w/Vodka or Rum but it's just too sweet after one. One Ting would kill my diabetic husband!!!

If you really are tired of the sweet drinks & like vodka tonics, try a vodka & club soda w/a twist of lime. Could be an acquired taste, but no sugar, no carbs.... almost like a health drink except for the vodka, but what the heck....you are on vacation!

We always started our mornings with a Dirty Banana and then I either switched to Electric Lemonade (a Taneisha special :-) or a slush w/vodka...didn't find either of those very sweet.

If you throw a large celery stick, green pepper strip, 2 green olives and a pickle spear in a Caesar (or Bloody for that matter), you have a salad with the best dressing ever!

My favorite drink is brandy. Does anyone know if Couples Swept Away has it there?

    Thanks,

i went to neigril 2 years ago. The best drink i had there was the Dirty Banana. You can not taste the alcohol in it.

    Grizz,

As I recall I saw both Hennessy and Courvoisier there....as long as you are ok with one of those, you should be good to go!

I love the Dirty Bananas! Even if they seem like girls drinks and they are a little sweet. I just ask for an extra double shot of Cream Rum(like Baileys but better). Very Good!

    Pharma girl,

Glad you like it. Its a great alternative to those sweet drinks, and they stock clamato in the mini bars.

I would recommend coconut rum, soda, and a splash of pineapple juice. Low calorie, slightly sweet, very refreshing and drinkable all day. YumME!

I agree with the others who mentioned Vodka & Ting...very refreshing.
A Miami Vice is also a good afternoon drink and it's very colorful!

Drank these all week substituting Graces for Tabasco (need heat) and Gray's Spicy for Worcestershire.
