    Default CSA Excursion?

Wonder what included and non-included excursions you would recommend. Wanted to do the Blk River, YS Falls, Appleton tour, but also heard there was an alternative to Ricks, where you could jump from cliffs that was included in CSA stay. Any info would be helpful. Already planning on doing catamaran and snorkeling.

Hello, I do not have any answers, but was wondering myself about excursions, mostly about ones that are not included that you can book at the resort, such as para sailing.... We are headed to CSA on June 4th for our honeymoon.... hopefully we can both find some useful advice, Have a night day!!!

When we stayed last August at CN, we did the Black River, YS Falls, and Appleton tour, it was fun. If you think the ride to CSA is bumpy, you haven't seen anything yet. OMG! If this is your first time there, you may want to just take in all that the resort has to offer and not do anything outside the resort. They have so many things to do there. Go to the website's resort that you are staying at, read the daily schedule and try and plan the day that you want to miss from the resort. It was hard for us because we wanted to try everything they offered. Couples massage, tennis lessons, margarita mixology, Tarot card reading, etc.... Oh, and remember to bring a watch of some sort. We were laying on the beach, just chilling, and then realized we wanted to go do this or go do that and the time had already passed us by. We didn't do any offsite excursions until we had been down there 3 times before. Just saying.

I don't know of any other place besides Rick's to jump but I wouldn't do it anyway. That's a whole other can of worms. As far as the parasailing and jetskis, there are vendors that walk along the beach and you should talk to them.Elvis is one, but there are others. You can't miss them. I paid about 50 dollars a couple years ago for a single ride. I highly recommended the jet ski as we did that also. Not sure but it was maybe 40 for a half hour? Great fun as my Hubby has a need for speed! I haven't done any other excursions as I can't pull myself from that gorgeous beach for that long. Good luck

We did the Black River Safari, the Pelican Bar and YS Falls in one day. It made for a full day from about 8 am to 5 pm. The drive to the area is about 2 hours from CN or CSA and allow a half an hour between places.

Pictures of the Black River Safari (if it's not sunny, you probably will not see any alligators, but it still makes a nice trip).

Mayfield Falls is a good trip. The drive is beautiful and scary to some. Climbing the falls is outragous fun. Beats Dunns by far.

So who did you do the Black River Safari, the Pelican Bar and YS Falls tour with? My husband and I will be there the 1st week of May and I would love to do this tour.

Great snaps Wally! Signed up with a driver highly recommended on TA (Alrick Allen, Your Jamaican Tour Guide) to do this tour on the middle weekend of our trip. Think it will be a great B-Day present for T. Now that I see your photos, even more excited. Not sure about the zip line though... hmm. Thank you for sharing!! :-)

Did you all do a paid tour or hire a private driver? Oh and for the person wanting to know where else to jump its PushCart! It is not too far from Ricks. Less touristy! Just as safe to jump there as it is at Ricks! Lots of people jump!

We hired a private driver for the day for $250 which included all the tour admissions, boat ride to the Pelican Bar and snacks and a lunch at roadside places. We are not allowed to mention specific tour operators on this message board. The tour desk can find you a reputable driver once you get to the resort.

How long is the drive/boat ride for the Pelican Bar?
