Sit on a stool in the water at the pool bar and get to know the staff and the guests. Have the drink of the day and then go to the beach grill and get a jerk chicken plate with onion rings.

It all depends on your interests, but one thing that MUST be done, is get your favorite drink(s) from the beach bar, get a lounger in the front row closest to the water, and wait for Donovon to come by with his guitar. Pay him a couple bucks to sing a couple of songs. Wait for Traver to come by with his cigarette bag on his head and enjoy his sales call, and of course the other cigeratte salesman with his call of "Its a gonna be a hot hot hot hot!" The beach is entertaining in and of itself. The sound of the rolling waves, the sand gravity, the drinks, and beach entertainment is awesome!

For lunch, first check out the beach grill. Then go over to the buffet at the Cassava and see what they have. Then get what you want from the buffet and carry it over to the beach grill for the rest. Sit in the open area of the beach grill next to the beach. And, there is a 24/7 soft serve ice cream machine in the back of the beach grill.

CN's pool bar is definitely one of the features that sets it apart. Also, an easy walk up the beach to the Office of Nature for a grilled lobster.

We just did a CN - CSA swap and enjoyed it throughly. At CN to do something different than what you can do at CSA I would suggest having a couples massage outside. Very different feel than being inside a spa and we found it very relaxing. We really liked the Grill for lunch too. It 's nicer than the Grill at CSA. Check out all the beautiful ponds on the property. The one by the spa is really beautiful. We also really enjoyed snorkling off the beach in front of BGN. You will need to bring you own equipment but it was nice being able to go when we wanted to and not be on a boat with a group of people. We also found the gift shops and the vendor's that set up on the property to be different too. Came home with some really nice things from CN.
One thing you can only get at CSA is Mimi's honey. Mimi is the Gift Shop manger and keeps her own bees. Her honey is amazing.
    Hope you enjoy both resorts.

First thing when you arrive at CN while the water is still calm as glass .... take a floatie & a drink & just float around ....... It's best earlier in the morning when not too many people are out & you have the swim area to yourself but 10:30 is still a good time ...... Floating in the bay is THE BEST !!!!! After that, head to the pool bar for a drink or 2 & then to the beach grill for jerk chicken & fries with cheese sauce.

    Karon,
If I can talk my husband into trading places to visit CSA, what would you suggest? I love the idea of Mimi's honey!
