    Default Photo Contest Help

I am wanting to upload some pics for the contest, but it says my files are too large. Can anyone tell me how to shrink them?

Check out the Help and Instructions forum. What operating system are you using?

There's an upload FAQ, and a link to one I wrote about resizing and hosting off-site.

When I need to resize pictures, I use the following website.

I think that there is a way to have this V-Bulletin version of Couples message board automatically resize pictures, but the Board Administrator does not have it set up that way. I think I've been on another message board using the same V-Bulletin platform that automatically resize photos when you post them.

you can load them onto a website such as photobucket to resize the image.

If you don't have a Photo editing program already installed on your computer, you can use Windows Paint. Under one of the menu tabs it will have "Resize". Just make sure you resize vertical and horizontal the same percentage so the picture keeps the same aspect ratio.

You can open them in editing software, like Photoshop, MS Paint, etc., and do a resize. Or maybe changing the file type would help.
