I haven't done it yet, but we are going to be guinea pigs and try it next Saturday the 1st. I will definitely post a review!

We are going to give it a try tomorrow. Looked on flightstats.com and there are 8 flights coming in an hours time. Figured it might be worth the price. Will to to post a quick review. Ya mon!

Personally, at $80/person ($160 for a couple) it would have to be a very busy Saturday before I would even think about it. We usually travel midweek so the combined waits (immigration and customs, not much they can do about bags) rarely exceed 20 minutes.

I haven't tried it but it is a departure lounge with snacks and beverages, wifi, and I believe you get through the lines quicker. I'm sure someone will chime in on this.

That is for the use of the departure lounge. The arrival service where they escort you through customs and immigration is $80/person.

    Hi,
I think the $80 per person is for both the arrival and departure service bundle. If you just want to purchase the departure service, it's $30 per person in advance or $35 per person if bought at the airport.

    Hope this helps.

We didn't use the service but saw others who arrived on the same flight as us who did. It appeared that an escort simply walked alongside them. We were through immigration and collecting our luggage before them so I'm not sure it saved any time.

I've never had to wait long enough through customs and immigration in Jamaica to warrant spending that kind of money. However, the departure lounge was well worth the $30 per person.

We got the departure Club Mobay as part of a package and used it a week ago. We had a person walk us through customs/immigration/security. At all lines we were walked right to the front. We got through everything in about 5 minutes total. I think the worth of it all depends on when you arrive. We have been in horrendous lines in the past, while other times we had almost nobody there.

Did the arrival and departure package. The arrival would be fantastic on a busy day and well worth the money. If its slow it would not be necessary. The departure always worth it IMO. Food and a couple of drinks at Margaritavillle is 60$ and passing the line at customs-priceless!

Used the arrival and departure service. We arrive 15 December (Saturday) at 1430 and the lines were pretty bad, 2 1/2 to 3 hours. Club MoBay zipped us right to the front of each line and we were out of the airport in under 30 minutes. Departure services (other than the lounge) was really no advantage as the airport was not crowded, although they did zip us to the front of each line there also. If it's worth it or not really depends on how crowded the airport is, and how ready you are to get to the resort.

Saturday afternoon is the busiest time of the whole week. If you're going during high season, then yes, I would consider using the arrival service.

This is probably a dumb question, but I don't see where you need to go to sign up for either the arrival or departure services. Can someone kindly direct me to where this is located?

I would. Depends on how much your vacation time is worth though. After getting up at 0500 and spending hours on the plane and airports, I'm ready to get to the resort ASAP. Arriving at 1430 on Saturday the 15th, we were at CSS just after 1600. Never would have made it before dark w/o Club MoBay. The $80 arrival ticket price also includes the departure services/lounge.

Arrival is going to depend on the time you arrive and time of year. We arrive before noon or just at noon on Saturday in June/July and last year we were the first in line for immigrations, so we got right through. We have made several trips, though, and know where we are going. We take off the minute we get off the plane and don't "stroll" the long walk.

We are arriving on Sat, 3/16 @ 1pm. Worth it? I don't know if this is considered busy season or not. In the past, we have arrived around 11am but chose a later flight since hubby won't be arriving back home from a business trip until later on Friday night.

    Thoughts?

    Hi,
Hubby and I used the arrival service last week! It was AWESOME! A representative from Club Mobay was waiting for us when we got off the plane, checked our immigration documents to make sure we had completed them correctly, and then escorted us to the FAST TRACK line at Immigration. We arrived at 2pm along with 5 other planes! The wait in the regular Immigration line was more than 90 minutes. There was also a FAST TRACK line for Customs. We zoomed right through again! We were having our first Red Stripe at the Couples Lounge by 2:35pm!!!! If you are traveling during the busy travel season, I would definitely spend the extra $$$$$!

Here is a web site that will show you all the planes (with arrival times) landing at a particular airport during a particular time frame:

    http://www.flightstats.com/go/FlightStatus/flightStatusByAirport.do?airportQueryType=0

I just discovered that there are 12 flights landing at Mobay within the hour prior to our flight. I found the Club MoBay web site, which has phone numbers to make a reservation, but they apparently aren't answered in the evenings:
