    Default Private Dinner Menu Question

Hello. I just requested information on the private dinner. We have read great things about the dinner and have been looking forward to booking it. I will be at SS in April and the menu they sent me had Lobster. I did ask about it being available in April and I was told it was not. When I asked if there was a different menu, I was told no and just to ignore anything with Lobster. I was pretty dissapointed as this really lmits the menu since that cuts out 2 entrees and one of the two soups (so now we don't even get a choice for soup). Has anyone else booked a private dinner outside of Lobster season and was the menu pretty limited?

Jessica this is the menu I was given for our dinner in April. There is some lobster on it, but there is also a lot more.. I don't think it's what you got because of your soup comment. It may be that you talked to the wrong person.....Also the lobster tails are still available out of season because they are frozen... so those meals are not marked "seasonal" below.

We did the private dinner when lobster was out of season and they just replaced the lobster with very large prawns and scallops. The rest of the menu was complete with soups, salads and an appetizer. If the soup had lobster, they will replace it with something else as well, like crab bisque. No worries, mon!

I just booked my dinner for April at CSA and they sent me two menus, with two meals on each menu. One that was for lobster season and the other that was outside of lobster season. Looked about the same, they just replaced lobster with shrimp. Don't know if they have different menus at each resort, but I imagine so.

Nick and I had a truly wonderful anniversary dinner on the island last June. There was no lobster, but a wonderful surf and turf (shrimp) meal was presented. Every course was magnificent! Go for it!

SusanL, thanks for posting the menu, I had been wondering what would be served. Do both diners have to get the same meals? My bf and I have very different tastes...

Many thanks! 101 days until CSA!

Susan- they have redone the menu, we just got a new copy. They have narrowed the choices quite a bit from the one you posted (I have that one too but it's no longer valid).
We will still have a good time I am sure and I intend to enjoy every minute of our CSS get away.

Wow, that was quick! I just got that a couple of weeks ago!

JessicaD - Tadean was helping me as well!

Withadash - You can get separate everything. He said you each choose your own apps, salads, entrees etc. My husband and I also have very different tastes. I don't eat meat for the most part and he does!
