Default For those in Negril Now, 4/4/13-4/13/13??

Leaving for CSA next Saturday 4/13. I just checked the extended forecast and the next week is forecasted to be windy, upwards of 20 MPH winds.

My question for those at CSA or Negril right now......what is this wind doing for beach erosion and water sports? Is the wind direction pulling sand out or re-depositing it back onto the beach and are the winds high enough that activities such as hobie kats, snorkel/dive and catamaran are shut down?

    Thanks

Just got back from 10 days and the weather was diff. everyday. Water sports where opened everyday. The sand most days seemed to be coming in, and moving to the north. There was a large sand deposit, almost to the swim rope, mid section on the newer half . Alot of that was moved on Sun. with 3' waves. It's all good! We had rain the first 5 days or so, but the weather changes so fast, things change in a half hour. The rain is here, then it's gone. The water is like glass, the wind blows and things get a bit rough, then the wind lays down and so does the water. Gotta love it!!!
