What did the Advanced Open Water Diver Certification entail? My hubby just got PADI certification/Open Water when were at CSS a few weeks ago. He LOVED it. Was thinking he might want to bump up to the Advanced certification when we go to CN in November. Info on cost and time it took would be fantastic.

Ism1212, It was a fairly easy process that allows you to be certified for the deep dives to 100ft that CN offered. We had to take 5 adventure dives with the DM which includes the mentioned deep dive, a drift dive, Fish identification, Wreck dive, underwater navigation and a boat dive.
Plus you have to complete the knowledge reviews in each section of the suplied PADI manual.
Cost was $250 and it was lots of fun. Definately worth while and we completed in 3 days.
