    Default SSB beach conditions?

We were at CSS back in September 2012 and the beach at SSB had eroded quite a bit due to storm activity. Actually the water went up to a few feet in front of the palapas. There was some sand bagging activity going on with the hopes that the beach would rebuild itself. Can any recent visitors comment on the progress or conditions? We're planning on going back in late July and just want to know what to expect. Mini tanks mon!

We were there in April and can say the beach was great. Lots of sand and the water was nowhere near the palapas. Hope that eases your worries! Enjoy!!

We were at CSS for two weeks the end of May 2013. We really didn't notice any change in SSB conditions from our vacation last Feb. 2012, except that the pool and beach seemed more popular than ever, If it suffered storm damage, they did a nice job restoring it.

In April the beach had recovered quite nicely. It was pretty bad in December when we were there, but we didn't see any sand bags. Still not a great beach with the river and all the rock.

We are here now. Will try and get some early am pics, but rest assured the beach is probably 30 yards deep at least from the pool edge.

Wasn't able to make it to the beach in the mornings before anyone else, so wasn't able to get any pics at SSB. However, there is plenty of beach there!
