    Default lost Romance Rewards

Has anyone else noticed any missing Romance Rewards nights? My account is showing 0 nights, my accumulated nights disappeared a few months ago. I have sent several emails to the "romance rewards" email link the past 2 months, and have heard nothing back. We will be traveling to Barbados next month and I want to be sure my account is up to date by then.
Does anyone know who I can contact to correct this? Or how? Help greatly appreciated! Thanks!

When I log into my account it shows the cumulative points as 12 (which is correct) but shows points remaining as 0...not sure why it would say that. It does state young love status which is correct.

They expire or disappear after 4 years.

Mine are the same...it shows cumulitive at 8 and balance at 0. The last time we went was January 2010. Maybe they're expired. Can anyone explain this at all?

Cumulative is what you should be looking at. It is the nights stayed that have not expired. The balance has always said 0 for us. I think it had to do with the OLD way Couples used to do Romance Rewards, on a Point System. You use the cumulative nights to figure out your Level.

Ours is the same way 28 cumulative points but balance is 0. But it has us at the passionate level which is right. Hopefully there are no issues but our total points look right to me.

I sent a note to the RR Coordinator. I am confused about this, as well. The last time we were at Couples was 8/2011. I recently noticed a change had been made as of 6/14. I was confused as to why that was. I looked up our cumulative points, which should have been 16 in total, instead of 11 currently showing. This deduction has dropped us down to the Young Love. I'm not sure why this is. Still eagerly awaiting a response.

I was excited and looking forward to being at the Renewed Love level for this next trip, especially since it's been since 2011 since we last visited [I was in the hospital 2012 and 2013] and we have our 20th anniversary 8/6.

Btw...the zero balance is because you start at zero. Your points don't accumulate until your first complete visit/stay. We first stayed at CSA back in 2009. So, that balance was brought forward the next visit's balance.

i noticed a mistake on ours early this year, notified them via email- and it was corrected farily quickly. im not sure you will "hear" from anyone, just keep checking, and if there is a problem-they will make it right.

It looks like you went to Couples in 2009, 2010, and 2011. I don't know what the dates of your stay were in 2010 but if it was prior to June 2010, they have expired. The 2009 points would have expired last year. The points expire after 4 years is the understanding that I have. Hope this helped.

Cumulative points is what is important. It shows the nights you have stayed and determines what reward level you are at. These points expire after four years and yes you will drop back to a lower reward level. Look at you activity list on the rewards page and it should show how you got points and when you lost them. Bottom line... Gotta go each year to maintain the reward levels... Cheers

Yes, that's correct. It's always been around 8/6, our anniversary, which is why I'm confused! If nights expire 4 years after they are earned and we were last there 8/2011, I don't understand. What am I missing here?
Thank you for your response msbeachbum22!

So your account got corrected without anyone contacting you back? I just sent an email yesterday since our cumulative points show none (because - yes - the 11 nights from February 2010 should have come off - I get that) even though we were just there in October. It shows us at First Love level with no nights rather than Young Love with our 7 nights from last fall. Do you remember how long it took to fix?

    Thanks!

I had the same problem. Our last trip was not posted. I friendly email to the RRC and it was taken care of. Respect

I'm having trouble getting into my account. Have sent two emails trying to get help and no response. I'm wanting to check my account as well as we are traveling in a couple of weeks and I want to check-in. Anyone have a magic email address where you get a response?

Whoever said 5 years should the be cutoff, I agree with that. Some of us, for whatever reason...family/work/life issues...cannot go every year, ya know?

meganfritz--- im not sure how long it took, but it was less than 2weeks, they are on Jamaican time you know it is a fairly easy mistake to correct, and they always do what's right for the visitors.

Yes, it's the bonus points that you were awarded on 6/7/2010 that expired. You are going to lose 6 more on Aug, 20 of this year.

Personally I miss the original system before points when a repeater was a repeater and all got the same perks.

Thanks everyone! I will be grateful for what we get as repeaters and go on my merry way. Hopefully, we will be back soon after this year.

ORV, I totally agree with you! Also, we will be visiting, God willing, on 8/5/14. So, hopefully no lost points again
