The Atrium Suites are all in 2 story buildings. They are scattered all over the resort so they have a lot of different views. You could be looking at other buildings, gardens or even a partial view of the beach and ocean (as we had last month in room 2227).

Atriums are only 2floors. There are good pictures on the website and have seen some good YouTube videos of some!

Remember that the Atrium Suites are 2 story villas that make up the second row of buildings from the beach. I believe only one or two of these even get a glimps of the water so it will not be the view that matters so much. I would recommend trying to get into a building closer to the center of the resort to avoid noise from the restaurants though. These rooms do not have glass in the windows. Only screens and wooden louvers that you can open and close. (there is AC) This allows more outside noise to enter your room. Great at night to hear the peeping tree frogs and some of the waves lapping on the shore but not so great in the early AM with the sounds of plates and dishes clinking as well morning breakfast conversations. I like the second floor as you get a little more privacy. The three story buildings are in the newer section and are the Verandah Suites. Enjoy!

We LOVED our Atrium! We were in room 1219. At first we tried to request a room closest to the beach or in locations that we had read about having good views, but when we were assigned out room we honestly could have cared less. They are mostly jungle-esque and have amazzzzzing balconies. I'd recommend the second floor because the thatched roof is awesome! Here are some photos.

Killafee, that is the room we stayed in this past December. The number was easy to remember because 12/19 was the day we had to leave. I know a lot of people like an ocean view, but we loved having our beach time and then going back to our room for some quiet time. We really did feel like we were the only couple there nestled in our "tree house." Loved your pictures!!

So funny! We had a beach front suite when we were there last time with palms in fron so we just had a peak a boo view of the ocean, something I thought I would hate about that room, but we called it our tree house TOO and were in love with it! Booking atrium this trip because we realized the building style was the magical part 2nd floor is a must! Can't wait to hang in our new tree house!
