    Default December

Hi !!! I can not stand the excitement for coming here in December for the first time. So anxious to see and do so many things. Also to meet and party with some new people. My 1 concern is the weather in December. Any hints there???
    Thanks Carol

Welcome to the board. We will be returning for our 4th trip to CSA in Dec. The weather has always been perfect. Very little if any rain ever during our stays. Temps in the the high 80's during the day. Then it cools of a bit when the sun goes down. But never to cool where you need a sweater or anything like that. It's truly PARADISE. No worries Mon. Good enjoy and have fun and relax! WE will be there form Dec 14-22 maybe we will cross paths.

W have been coming to Negril for several years in December; weather is fabulous - never a problem. Once, we stayed in Ocho and it was somewhat windy at CTI, but still pretty nice.

The weather in December is absolutely beautiful. The last time we were there (Dec 10-17 2011) it was sunny and calm every day. Highs about 85 during the day and around 75 at night. It rained late one evening very hard for about 2 hours.

35 days and a wake-up until trip #2 to CSA!

Where will you be staying? Negril or Ocho Rios side of the island?

We have been to Couples in November, December, January, February, March, and April. December was the best for weather.

Is CSS likely to be cooler than Negril? We've been to CN a couple of times in December and the weather has been fantastic. We've heard that the other side of the island will probably not be as hot......or as dry for the last two weeks of December??

This will be our 4th trip to Negril in December & it is THE BEST time to go .... The weather is PERFECT!!!!! Less humidity so very pleasant & we have been lucky & not had much, if any, rain on those trips. When we have been during other months, there is normally afternoon showers & it's so humid that nothing dries if left on the balcony/patio of your room. Some people complain that the pool & ocean are too cool but we think they're both warm enough. It's by far our favorite time to go.

Not sure about December at CSS being cooler or wetter than CN but when we were at CSS in May 2009, it rained every single day (pretty much all day every day & evening - one day a monsoon the entire day) & we were hearing that it was sunny every day at CN .. That just made it worse because we were missing CN so much anyway. Out of our 12 trips to Jamaica, that was our only time not to stay in Negril .... We'll be sticking with Negril from now on after that.
