    Default Nightlife at CSS

With a disco being added at CTI, hoping something along this line will come to CSS as well. The place is pretty much dead in the evening. Probably more so from lack of any offerings. Piano bar can be fun a couple nights but starts getting old quickly. It's the same old routine for years now. Can't we mix it up a little and start offering a little variety (disco / karaoke...something!) for those who enjoy a little night life. Certainly appreciate that night life not everyone's thing and they are more than welcome to retire anytime they like but there are certainly many people on property who would also enjoy some evening activities beyond the show and piano player (every night).

I have never wandered over, but I thought they had a "dance/night club" at SSB every night after the entertainment.

Sorry, but we like it just the way it is. We don't go to CSS for the nightlife. We enjoy the serene, intimate ambience of this beautiful place. Yes, the Balloon Bar does get old at times but I'd rather have that than a loud, booming disco playing American rock. Try CSA if you want a nightclub. You can stay at Aura until the wee hours and dance the night away. That's the great thing about Couples...each resort offers something a little different.

Nobody said anything about "booming disco playing American rock". Last thing we want to listen to is booming American Rock...we get enough of that in the states. Be happy to dance the night away to some techno / reggae / ??? mix or even a little karoke one night. Something...anything as an addition / alternative to same old songs every night at the piano bar. Nobody forcing anybody to participate either if not your thing.

I have to agree with ginjoe - css should stay the way it is - quiet and intimate at night

However, this is also why we do a split stay starting at cti and ending at css

We party & have fun for a few days then relax for several more. ..

They do have a disco on SSB after the Friday gala. I agree with ginjoe. I love the quiet ambiance of the resort.

Hello All, I love CSS for its romance and quiet ambiance, but I enjoy dancing with my husband too! The management team at CSS, Pierre and Mr. Lynch his Operations Manager, are professionals and if they determine that a dance venue would be beneficial for the property, I'm sure they could find a way to make it happen that would not disturb guests. As to the comment that my husband and I should go to CSA if we wanted to dance, that won't work for us since CSA does not have an au natural area. CSS is a beautiful property and having some form of nightlife after 11pm will not "kill" the romance! Our magic happens in the room anyway! One Love!!!:-)

I'd love to see some sort of night-life at CSS beyond the Balloon Bar too. It would be awesome to dance late into the night with my wife!

I as well would love to see more dancing at CSS We love CSS, but CSA is becoming our new favourite because of the more nightlife options.

Whilst I'm not against the idea of providing more entertainment, I think the issue at CSS is the location. The sound from the current show area carries a long way. We stayed in a penthouse in D block and even with the doors and windows closed the music was very loud. It could even be heard from the balconies in G block.

If there were a location away from the rooms then I'm sure Couples management would be open to the idea, however I think they try hard to balance what they provide for all guests (not an easy task). There's a show and some dancing for those who want this, and it ends at a reasonable hour for those who don't wish to partake. It seems that whatever they provide there's always those who want something different.

Couples already has facilities to accommodate this. Wouldn't take much to roll up some tables & chairs inside the Palazzina one or two nights a week to turn into a dance floor and setup a DJ. Not your thing go to the piano bar. Neither your thing...head to your room. Options in addition to / other than just the piano bar. Just sayin.

We will be staying at CSS in July and I think additional nightlife options would be a GREAT idea! We would love the ability to choose between a Dance / Disco bar, Rock / Reggae bar, Piano bar, Karaoke bar, a Hot-Tub Party at SSB... or chillin' in the room and crashing early. All are appealing to me. It depends on the night (and our energy level).
Perhaps establishing "theme nights" would be a good and easy way to cover all the nightlife options... different each night.
And as long as I'm at it, how about considering a bingo or casino night?

I'm not sure if I should disclose this as there are a lot of us who might not want the entire resort to know this but...

You can arrange for your own private party @ ssb complete with bartender - it does cost money ($200 total) but you can split it among as many couples that show up.

Most of the time this party is quietly arranged on the AN side and it's (mostly) AN but this is dependent on who shows up / who arranged the party

We've been to several and danced / hot tubbed well into the night.

Note that this is not the same as the after party held once a week and you may need to go to ssb to find out if anyone is hosting

I realize this is not what the thread is about, but if you're at css & you can't figure out where everyone went to....

There's also ad hoc parties at ssb where people bring their own drinks from the mini bar but these are usually pretty quiet. ..

CSS does have "theme nights": Beach Party, Gala, and they do have a casino night. Your information package when you check in has the info. We LOVE CSS because you never know where a party may start. Check out the beach bar after dinner (we have had many a fun night singing around the bar). We have had midnight pool parties (note: long dresses + midnight swim/dancing=not dry for packing to go home). SSB has night parties. Two things of note: most people never know a party is going on because we are respectful enough to keep noise low AND these are opportunities to talk and get to know your fellow CSS family.
