    Default Rum Creme

With 29 days to go to SSB, I was in Ontario last week and picked up 2 bottles of Sangster's Rum Creme to get us in the Jamaican mood. Never tasted it before and am wondering if anybody has any mix concoctions we can try?

It's perfect in a cup of coffee.

Several....think Baily's Irish Creme but rum...

    Blend it smooth with ice
Mix with coffee Hot or Iced (Yummy)
    On rocks with coffee liquor
    Straight up!

Very hard/impossible to get in the states!

I just drink it on the rocks but here's my favorite, the Hummingbird.
    1 1/2 oz rum cream
    1 oz Tia Maria
    1/2 banana
    2 oz milk
    Dash of fruit syrup
    Blend with ice, enjoy

It's also good on ice cream
I'm sure that's what the soft serve machine is for at Swept Away!!

On the rocks... , over ice cream... or go to http://www.yummly.com/recipes/rum-cream-cocktails and you will find tons of rum cream recipes and ideas.
And when you are at the resort in a few days, I'm sure you will discover a lot of excellent options. And then on your way home be sure to pick up a couple bottles at the airport. We usually get one or two bottles of Sangster's or Wray & Nephew Overproof Rum Cream.

p.s. We also absolutely get several bottles of CoCo Mania (Wray & Nephew) at the airport since we are unable to get in the states. It is 40% Alc/vol compared to 20% for Malibue and Coconut Jack. Plus a the airport 1L is only US$9.

Also, instead of the fruit syrup for the hummingbird, do simple syrup, and you have the dirty banana!

You must try a Funky Bitch drink... Equal parts of rum cream, hazelnut liqueur and creme de cacao. Learned this drink on Tower Isle... Delish!
