Default Saturdays at MBJ This Time of Year

    Hi,

Were arriving Montego Bay (Sangster) in a couple weeks. It will be a Saturday at 1:15 PM. Im guessing this is probably the busiest time the airport sees during the week. Im trying to decide whether to purchase Club Mobay.

My question is this, has anyone arrived in MBJ recently on a Saturday, around noon 1:00 PM? If so, what was your wait time getting through the airport (deplaning to bus)?

    Thanks in advance!

We're coming in on 10 May at 2:00pm, and we're doing CLub MoBay just in case!

Yes we have arrived on Sat. 2 times and both times it was a mad house. We arrived at 11:30 both Sat. and Mo-Bay was not available the first time we arrived on Sat. and it took over an hour and a half to get through. The second time we bought the Mo-Bay and were through in 5 min. Well worth the money. We are returning the 12th of May and have purchased it again. The departure is worth it alone but arrival is a must. Do yourself a favor and get it. You will be smiling all the way to the front of the line.

Hi! We've been to Jamaica six times and have always arrived on Saturday around that time. I don't think it was more than 20-30 minutes tops to get through arrivals and customs. Then we head to the Couples Lounge and enjoy a Red Stripe (maybe two). Maybe another 15-20 minutes at the Lounge and then we're on our way on the shuttle. We decided against the added expense of the Club Mobay because we really haven't spent that much time waiting for the shuttle. Hope all goes well for you!

9 trips to Jamaica, Customs and Immigration always a wait of some sort, but you are on vacation and in Jamaica, you'll make it through fine and ok. Check MoBay arrivals online to see how many jets land close to your time. May give you an inkling as to what to expect. Best o'luck.

Flew into MBJ Saturday April 5. Landed a little after 11:00 am Jamaica time. There was NO delay going through immigration, baggage pickup or customs. Our plane was completely full but I don't know how many others were in at the same time.

Last year we arrived at 3pm on a sat mid April and it was deserted. It's a crap shoot really.
