    Default Which resort has?

We went to CN about 6 years ago, so trying to determine if we should go with old faithful or change it up.
    Which resort is best for:

    1) In-resort Organized activities (i.e. sports tournaments/competitions, games for prizes, sports in general)?

    2) In-resort nightlife/social scene?

    3) Younger crowd (upper 20's and 30's)?

    4) Social pool and beach scene?

Detailed answers and experiences would be appreciated.

    Thanks for your help

Toss a coin because they all meet those requirements.

I would defnitely rule out Sans Souci. In my experience there, it was very quiet at night.

CN, CSA & CTI would fit all the others but again in my experience CTI had the youngest crowds BUT CN & CSA were both very diverse in age.

I would vote to change it up if you are not dead set on CN. Try CSA or CTI. CSA does not have an au-natural so if that is important you can rule out CSA.

    Good Luck!

While they do both meet the requirements, we were glad we gave CN a try. We had previously been to CSA four times. Our past trip last month we decided to try CN a try. We LOVED CSA and was a little leary to try something different. All in all it was a great experience. In fact we would be hard predded to choose which one to do next, therefore we are hoping to do five nights at each.

Have to agree with RDYJMJM....but if you haven't been in 6 years, and absolutely loved your last trip, I'd go back home to a place I knew and loved.

We've been to CN 5 times and are heading back Nov. 28. Last July we went to CTI for our anniv. and found it to be more laid back than we were used to. When we are at CN there has been times when I look at a clock and its 2 am and there's still people dancing or having fun. At CTI everything seemed to die down about 10. The staff at CN seemed to be more outgoing. The staff at CTI were great but more reserved, if you approached them they would stop at nothing to make sure you were happy, at CN the staff just comes up to you and you feel like you've known them for years. The beaches in Negril are not as rocky and seem to be bigger. We did a day trade to CSS which has a big beach and seemed very similar to CN. Ages seem to be all over the board at all the resorts. I'm in my thirties and act eighteen when I'm at Couples

All of them do! Though in our experience, some were more active than others. But at them all, the social aspect is really what you make of it.

Though we found that out of them all, CSS had the least number of people participating. The entertainment staff had a hard time getting people off of their beach chairs. At the others, particularly CSA and CTI, we played in lots of volleyball tournaments, scavenger hunts for prizes, casino nights, etc.

    2) In-resort nightlife/social scene? We have found that at each resort, the nightlife is what you make of it. For instance, CSA has a niteclub, but there were times when it was empty, but the main bar was packed. The social scene is there at them all if you want it. We've been known to close down the CTI piano bar at 4am!

    3) Younger crowd (upper 20's and 30's)? There are no ages at Couples! Honestly. We honeymooned at CTI when we were both 24 and have gone back every year since (we're now 32). Each resort has ages that range from early 20s to late 70s but it's finding others to hang out with regardless of age. In fact, many people think it's the people in their 20s and 30s who stay up late and socialize at the bar, when in fact it's usually not

    4) Social pool and beach scene? I think that CN and CSA have the most social pools while CTI has the most social beach. CSS wasn't as social when we were there. But it was the Tennis Professionals week so that could be the reason why it seemed less social.

Detailed answers and experiences would be appreciated.

    Thanks for your help

Hope this helps! They are all great! In fact, we just returned from CSA, are headed to CTI in 2010 and booked a CTI/CSA split for 2011. If you can't decide, you could do a split too!

    Amy:

The only thing I want to add is that CTI's new pool with swim up bar is very social. A nice addition and change to CTI.

Thanks Jon1963! I was so glad that they added this during the renovations.

Cool, because Rosa and I plan on doing a lot of socializing.

Reading is fundamental. It's just that for some, it's more mental than fun.

Thanks for the info. CSS is out and since we went to CN last time, it is time to change it up.
Now to decide between CSA and CTI....
I am very athletic and competitive. Every game, tournament activity, social event, we will be there!!
So, I think CSA will probably suit our needs best.

Probably going towards the end of July, so if anybody is planning a trip around that time, drop me a line.
