No its not the rainiest time but you will probably get some rain. The driest months are December to April. Check it out on www.weather2travel.com

    Yes...
May is considered to be one of the wetter months - but it's not like a cold rain - it starts and stops and the sun comes out....and Hurricane Season starts June 1st
But nothing, even the weather is predictable anymore

"Annual rainfall average 78 inches, but there are considerable variations nationwide, with the eastern coast receiving considerably more rain than elsewhere on the island. Parts of the John Crow and Blue Mountains receive an average of 300 inches a year. By contrast, the south coast sees little rain and in places is semibarren.

A “rainy season” begins in May or June and extends through November or December, with the heaviest rains in September and October. Rain can fall at any time of year, however, and normally comes in short, heavy showers, often followed by sun."

There are no guarantees, but you should be fine. We have made many trips to Couples at this time of year and rain was never a problem. If it is going to rain, it will usually do so for an hour or so in the early afternoon. It rarely rains all day and on many days there is no rain at all.

It should not be a wash out. We were at CSA in June and we got rain just about every day, but it only lasted an hour at most in the late afternoon. Great time for a nap or for hanging out at a beach bar. One of my favorite times was sitting under the overhang at the Sunset Bar with the rain gushing all around us laughing it up with new friends. That was an intense and very short lived downpour. It was exciting.
