Default Been to CN, thinking about Tower Isle - Help

In December, we experienced our first trip to Couples and went to CN. We absolutely loved it and are looking at planning our next Couples trip. Our question is whether or not to go back to CN or check out Tower Isle.

What we loved about CN was how close everything was. We also enjoyed the entertainment staff and felt like there was a decent amount of participation among the guests and so we made a lot of friends playing Volleyball, participating in Casino night, etc. We also loved the beach. We spent a portion of everyday just hanging out on the beach.

I've been looking into all the resorts and there are things that interest me about Tower Isle like the Horseback riding and Dunns River. Are these good? How does the beach compare? How about the entertainment staff & activities?

    Any help would be appreciated!

I can guarantee you would LOVE CTI!! We are returning in 9 short days for the 5th time!! The staff is top-notch, and can't be beat, the excursions are wonderful.

We love CTI. Like CN, it is set up so that everything is close together. Both the tours you mentioned are a lot of fun. especially Dunns River Falls. The activities you mentioned also take place at CTI and a reasonable number of people participate.

Since you mentioned that the beach is important to you, you should know that the beach at CTI is a private beach and is much smaller than the one at CN. Its about the length of a football field. The adavnatage is that, since ist is a private, there are no vendors and it is never crowded. The disadvantage is that you can not take lond walks on the beach. I am told the water is a bit rougher and the sand is not as white as it is in Negril. These things don't matter to us, but it might be something to consider if you are looking for a beach experience that is close the the Negril experience.

In the end , the best advice I can give you to understand is that CN and CTI are different experiences. If you go to CTI looking forward to trying something new, you will have a great time. If you go looking for the experience you had in Negril, you might not enjoy yourself as much.

    9 days?!?! - jealous!

You will LOVE CTI! The only difference in what you mentioned is the beach - it's much smaller at CTI, but there aren't any other hotels or public beach access. There also aren't any jet skis or parasails. At CTI, everything is also very close together and revolves around a main central location. The only way to know if you like it is to go!

Like yourselves we went to CN last year and absolutely loved it. We were going to book it again for this Feb when right at the last minute we decided to try CTI. I have been a little worried that we may have made a mistake, but after reading many reviews i am now convinced i have made a good choice and we are already getting really excited for our visit.

YES, AMY....9 days!!! I can't believe that it is finally here. After not being able to go last year due to the fire causing CTI to not open on time, we have been waiting for what seems like forever, but alas, it is finally here. We couldn't be more excited!!

Of course my dearest you know we all expect a full report upon your return. In the meantime, here's to you and Bryan having the greatest week of your lives coming soon.

Reading is fundamental. It's just that for some, it's more mental than fun.
