We were at CTI last weekend. Immediately after the Vikings' game, the bar was filled with men wearing Brett Favre jerseys dancing--literally--in celebration.

hahaha. I'm a Favre fan, who for just this year is rooting for the Vikings. My husband, ever the Packer backer, just can't bring himself to do it...

    Packerfan62,

    Now that takes GUTS!

Iowa doesn’t have a professional football team. So, we are ether Packer fans or Viking fans here in Iowa. I bought #4 purple jerseys for my daughters, son in-laws, and wife this year for Xmas. We all wore them to our extended family Christmas where the rest of the family members are Packer fans. Now that was fun.

    GO VIKINGS!!!

I live in Wisconsin now however grew up a vikes fan living in Minnesota. I tell my friends that are huge Packer fans that I'm the biggest hypocrite in the world as I hated Brett for years. Now that he is on our team. I love this guy. He is so fun to watch.

Bum-I love the XMAS presents. I can relate to that. Go Vikes and be proud to wear purple.

If they play like they played against the Cowboys, I think they can beat anyone. GO VIKINGS!

not really an NFL fan...moreso college, but a HUGE fan of AD (that would be Adrian Peterson's nickname....AD= all day, because he can keep going and going and going...not sure who at ESPN mixed it up and started calling him AP...) go vikings!

Hey Captain...causing some more problems with the cheeseheads?

For the first time in my life, I was cheering for the Packers to beat the Cardinals and the Saints so Favre could destroy them for a 3rd time at the Metrodome. It would have been a dream to win back-to-back games against my two least favorite teams, Cowboys and Packers. Oh well...Saints it is!

Here is a shirt I got from Santa last Christmas...

You must be an OU fan!! AD is also the only reason I watch NFL! When I first heard someone on ESPN refer to him as "AP" I thought I heard wrong...but they do it all the time.

Sorry! As a life long Packer Backer, I just can't cheer for our rivals, the Vikings. Love - love - love Brett and can't wait for his induction into the hall of fame. However, he's wearing purple so I will remain silent on the subject... The only thing I will say? Enjoy this time & the moments. Brett is the man and he's so very special. Razzl

Let us now bow our heads and pray...

    Our Favre
    Who art in Minnesota,
    Hallowed be thy arm.
    The Bowl will come,
    It will be won,
In Florida as it is in the Dome.
    Give us this Sunday
    Our weekly win.
And give us many touchdown passes,
But do not let others TD pass against us.
    Lead us not into frustration,
But deliver us to the Superbowl.
For thine is the MVP, the best of the NFC,
and the Glory of Vikings Fans,
    Now and Forever.

    Amen.

LOL you guys make me laugh and YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME! Now I have had my fair share of teasing being a cheeshead and going to College in MN I find it sooo amusing how MN fans HATED, DESPISED, AND never wished well to Favre. Now that he is in purple the man is god! I was a Farve fan, not any more.

GO SAINTS, GO SAINTS, GO SAINTS! Take Favre out at the knees!

For all you Vikes fans, I am not bitter I am not jealous. Favre is a traitor.

    WOO HOO GO SAINTS!

I'm an avid Packers fan, and I miss Brent as much as many other cheeseheads.

Torn here, lifelong Packer fan, die-hard Brett fan. I want to see Brett get another ring, but not the Queens as a team. Although the irony of their best shot at a superbowl is with TWO HOF Packer players on the roster! Although if they do go, and lose, the Queens will be in the record books! Most times to the dance without a win. Hmmmmm.

Go JJ GO. Who DAT fans remind me alot of vikes fans in 98 when the dirty birds (Atlanta) were just a road block. Be carful Aints there are no automatic wins in the NFL.

Ok...I'm really seriously totally bummed. We should have won that game. We were the better team. Too many turnovers. terrible decision by Favre at the end of regulation. Alcohol may cause me to call in sick tomorrow.

Good thing I can still look forward to CTI in March.

After watching that game, I'm reminded of an old pain medication ad... "How does it feel to be Steve Young?"... remember that one? IT HURTS!

Lifelong Packer fan... love Brett... wish he'd take up golf, and have said so for the last five seasons. This is NOT a game for the middle aged! Sorry to say, I rooted for the 'aints... just couldn't bring myself to cheer for the purple, no matter who was taking the snaps!
