    Default superior room CTI

so im sure a thread somewhat similar to this is on here somewhere but i couldnt find it :/

we booked a superior ocean rm at CTI for our honeymoon.the only thing i want to know is if we will be able to hear the ocean with our door open, its not a big deal to see the island or the beach, just to wake up in the morning to the sound of the ocean.so if anyone has stayed in this room and has any input i would love to know!!

We stayed in one the very first time there. You have a view of the ocean but I honestly don't remember if you could hear the ocean. The rooms are good though. you will have agreat time at CTI regardless.

You can't really hear the ocean from any of the rooms since the water in the Caribbean is fairly calm. There aren't a lot of waves for noise.

We stayed in a Superior Ocean on our honeymoon. They are located in the South (#5) wing and have a view of the ocean but not of the island.

    You will LOVE CTI!

Normally perhaps, but not true at all the week we were there (3/20-3/27). It was rather windy and the waves could be heard even with the balcony doors closed! We slept with them open several nights in order to listen to the waves as we fell asleep. Pure bliss...

We could hear the ocean with the doors open and closed. It was very windy though and the ocean was very rough most of the time we were there.

Amy or anyone else who has stayed in the South Wing, how quiet are the rooms in that wing? With the addition of the new pool, it has gotten a lot more noisy staying in the main building.

The South wing rooms are really quiet because they don't face the resort. They face the other side of the bay. West rooms are quiet too, especially if you're at the end of the hallway by the South. Steve's favorite room is the fifth floor, last room on the end in the West wing.

We booked the Superior Ocean for our guests, how far are the rooms from the main lobby? Thanks in advance!

They will have to walk down the South hallway, then the West hallway, the Main hallway, then they will be in the lobby. Maybe a couple of minutes to walk it?
