Default Is trading places all inclusive??

We are staying at CSA and thinking about visiting CN for a day! When you do this...is it still all inclusive? Or will we have to pay for food and drink once we get to CN?

Yes, Couples is All inclusive no matter how you do it. This just makes it more exciting and easier if you can't choose which one you want to do.

Yes, Trading Places is all inclusive except for some of the reservation activities like the CAT cruise and scuba diving. You will also be there from approx 10 am to 4 pm so you will not be able to east at the dinner restaurants.
Also there are no places to change other then the bathrooms

In other words, dress as you would for spending a 6 hour day at the resort where you're staying. For us, that meant wearing our bathing suits, sandals, and tops for cover up if needed. We also brought our own towels, but I'm not sure this is necessary. Of course don't forget your sunscreen and other necessities. A good beach bag to store your goods and carry with you will do the trick.

We'll be at CSA in July and are also interested in seeing CN. We are members of Romance Rewards but have not yet stayed at a Couples resort. We can still participate in trading places right?

Yes you can participate in Trading places. Even though you have not stayed at Couples resorts before you are registered for Romance Rewards. Just sign up for Trading Place 24 hours before you want to go and you in!

We did the trading places in January from CSA to CN. EVERYTHING is included, even the van ride over. The only things we couldn't do were activities that involved reservations (scuba diving, spa). We even managed to go on the afternoon snorkeling trip. We loved having the chance to finally see CN.

Yes that was the plan, just to pack a beach bag like we were going to the beach for a day. Swimsuits, cover ups and a beach bag. So we will be able to eat lunch and have drinks there, all inclusive, but just come back that evening to CSA for a formal dinner if we want?

My husband and I are staying at CN the end of June and are also curious of this "trading places" option. How far is the van ride from CN to CSA? Also, does it cost anything to sign up for "Trading Places?" I'm assuming there's a sign up at the desk, and we would sign up once we get there? Wow this message board is awesome-I'm learning so much before our trip!

    cicurn63 -

If you're not yet a member of Couples' Romance Rewards, do it NOW. There are many cumulative benefits to membership. But an IMMEDIATE benefit is the ability to take advantage of the "Trading Places" program, and it doesn't cost anything. This program allows you to visit the other Couples Resort in your destination area.

The van ride is brief... only a few minutes as the two resorts are only a few km apart.

AHammon - yes, all drinks and food were included in our trading places excursion to CN. In fact, we probably had TOO many drinks that day!

Cicurn63 - the van ride from CSA to CN is about 5 minutes. The two resorts are very close to each other. There is no cost for Trading Places, but you MUST sign up for the Romance Rewards program prior to your visit. This is very easy to do on this website. Finally, you sign up for Trading Places at the Concierge Desk in the lobby.

we did trading places this year (our 3rd trip to CN), and didn't realize that you could go on the snorkling trip! We wanted to take advantage of the walk down Long Beach as it is so different from Bloody Bay. But now that we've done that, if we decide to do TP again, I would definitely opt to skip the Long Beach walk and maybe hop on a snorkle trip or take a Hobie Cat out for a cruise instead!! Plus, we really didn't spend much time exploring CSA either - we just ended-up hanging out at the beach and pool after our long walk!!
