    Default Carrying on Dress

    If you choose to carry on your dress it counts as one of your carry on items, correct? I figured I would carry on my dress and wear a backpack.

    The airline we are flying with us has said your dress is considered your carry on item.

    I would check with the airline that you will be travelling with. Some allow the wedding dress as a special item, so it would not count as a carry on. But to be safe check with the airline.
