Thread: CTI Wedding questions!! PLEASE Help!

Okay, So my fiance and I are very interested in getting married at CTI in July. I have a number of concerns.

I have been researching couples for a while now (3 months) and it seems almost perfect but I am not sure about how my wedding would be.

We want a very intimate wedding--only the two us. I also want it to be very "classy". I do not want a wedding that is thrown together or cookie cutter. I want something elegant and romantic that represents us. Can couples offer that for us? I have tried calling the wedding coordinator and she was not that helpful. She did answer my questions but there was no enthusiasm or anything that made me say "yes this is it!". I was hoping that I would have more encouragement because she is the coordinator. Can you all please give me some advice. Pictures would be helpful!

I am not an overall picky person, it's my wedding and I want it to be special. I do not want to settle.

Yes, couples is the place. I was married at CTI and they fulfilled every request I had.

Which coordinator did you speak with? Debbie? or Latoya?

Debbie works out of Florida, so she may be purely in business mode.

LaToya works at the actual resort and I did not speak to her until I arrived. She was very accommodating and happy for us during the planning. She even had tears in her eyes the day of and after when she saw us on the resort. I know she takes her job very seriously----she is extremely busy, as well.

Research what you want in advance, take lots of pictures or print pictures of exactly what you want and bring them with you. I even had my hair done ahead of time, took pictures and the salon did an even better job.

Latoya was the best!! She even was employee of the month!! We thanked her very much. You won't be disapointed!! We had video done by the resort and took our own photographer along, 1200 pictures in 3 days!! Videographer woman was great too. We even did the trash the dress in the ocean that night, walked into the swim up bar in wedding clothes, went in the hot tub in wedding clothes, then dried them and rolled in the surf at sunrise. We made for a wedding couple that most of the other guest knew who we were and smiled when we walked by. Even did some tastefull shots on the island with my wife in her veil and garter, with her flowers in just the right spot ( wink ) LOL Have fun with it!!
