Thread: Groom's shoes for beach wedding

Hi everyone. We are getting married 3/27 at CSA and my fiance is wearing a tan linen suit with a blue shirt. We dont want to be barefoot for the ceremony, and dont want flip-flops. Did any grooms where brown shoes? Can you post pics or email them to tampagirl4873@gmail.com? Thanks! Michelle

Wear whatever you want! Brown sounds like it would be good to me. My fiance is wearing black shoes but his suit is black. We are having a vow renewal on 4/22 at CSA.

Do you think he will be really uncomfortable in closed shoes??? I'm hesitant to ask him to wear normal dress shoes because they could get really uncomfortable if sand gets in.

I would like him to wear a nice red button down long sleeve shirt with black pants, but can't really think of a good shoe to compliment the more formal look.

I had the same problem. This is what my husband wore for our wedding. I think they looked really nice with his tan suit. They were much dressier than a flip flop, yet somewhat casual for the beach wedding. The second link is a similar pair that looks a little more like a shoe than a sandal. These were great quality and comfortable enough that they ended up being his favorite shoes to wear while we were at CN. I see the wedding has already passed, but maybe this will help someone else.
