Thread: Vow renewal

Hi,

My husband and I are planning our trip to CSA and I was wondering about renewing our vows. It is just going to be the two of us, is there any advice on whether or not that will be ok to only have us? We got married four years ago and we wanted to have a nicer wedding later on down the road and I have always wanted a beach wedding and I thought this would be perfect, however I am unsure whether or not it would be silly to only have the two of us. Thank you in advance for any advice!

My husband and I are thinking about doing the same thing next year-our sixth trip to cn and fifth anniversary. I think its great to be by yourselves. So romantic because to me it makes the vow renewal very intimate. Besides-it won't be difficult to find folks to raise a glass with you later to toast your happy day!

I do not think so! My husband and I are doing the same in a couple of weeks. We will be celebrating 11 years ago that we fell in love in Jamaica, and also a little bit early our 10 year anniversary. It will be just the two of us and the "officiant" saying some simple renewal vows. We paid for the simplest package, but we are so excited!

Not silly at ALL! How romantic to renew your vows just the two of you! It is very common to have a wedding with just the couple there or a vow renewal without guests.

My fiance and I are getting married in August at CTI. Only his parents were able to come. So we will have a very small wedding and then a reception when we get home.

Either way, all that matters is the two of you. I hear that the entire staff at Couples will make you feel just like family. And all the guests will be all smiles to catch a glimpse of you two love birds renewing your vows.

We renewed our vows last year at CTI, it was just the two of us, but most of the holiday guests are watching and cheering so you are not alone, I have seen loads of weddings and renewals where there is only two of them, I wouldn't of changed a thing, I loved it that it was only the two of us, so enjoy it....xx

Thank you all for your advice, we actually changed the location to CN instead.
