Known as Entaroge to his friends, this 31-year-old from the Green Island District of Jamaica has been a valuable member of the Couples Negril team for the past five years. His responsibilities as a Houseman include making sure that the lobby, offices, and public areas of the resort are impeccable, ensuring that all accommodations are up to standard for guest arrivals. Damien likes the discipline of Couples Resorts, and appreciates how the company always encouraging him to go the extra mile to exceed guest expectations. His most memorable guest experience is when two guests approached him while cleaning the lobby, and asked him if he wanted assistance. The guests had been admiring the way Damien was cleaning and wanted to learn a few cleaning tips to take back home with them! A few of Damien’s favorite things include visiting the country side and jamming out to Bob Marley and Third World Band. During his time off, Damien enjoys watching Western movies, keeping a tidy home, and sitting by the seaside admiring the ocean. If Damien could have dinner with any person in the world, he would sit down and enjoy a plate of vegetables with peas and rice in the company of his favorite female singer, Celine Dion, whom he greatly admires.

For the past year and nine months Ricardo, Cardo for short, made sure that every guest that comes to Couples Swept Away has an unforgettable time, as well as exceptional drink service. As a bartender at the resort, Ricardo lists his colleagues, the benefits, and the opportunity to meet people from all over the world as his favorite aspects of working at Couples Resorts. His most memorable experience was assisting a guest with throwing a hush-hush surprise party for her husband’s 50th birthday. Born in Spanish Town, Ricardo now lives in Sav-La-Mar and enjoys spending time with his family, playing football, listening to music and socializing while not at work. A few of Cardo’s favorites include steam fish & crackers, the movie “Rockers,” visiting his hometown, and listening to Sizzla. If Ricardo could have dinner with anyone in the world, he would share a meal with his father, who he has not seen in 19 years.

Evol, an Ocho Rios native fondly known as Dr. Luv, has been greeting Couples Sans Souci’s guests with a smile for the past four years. As Bell Man, this 28-year-old takes great pride in orientating guests with the resort upon arrival, escorting them to their rooms, and assisting them with their luggage. Evol’s favorite part of working at Couples Resorts is getting the chance to meet new guests each day, and having the opportunity to learn about their diverse cultures. Dr. Luv strives to help give each and every guest a memorable and wonderful vacation experience. He fondly remembers a time when he was deeply touched by two guests who cried upon check out, as they did not want to leave the resort. Evol’s favorites include steamed fish & crackers, listening to Byron Lee, island hopping off the Almafi coast in Italy, and watching the movie “Bad Boys 2.” During his off time, Evol likes to hang out with his best friends, practice his cooking, and wash his car. If Evol could have dinner with anyone in the world, living or deceased, he would choose his mom, “Mom – she’s my best friend, I am her star, she is my five star.”
