We understand times are uncertain and are working every day to stay ahead of your needs. Our new Worry Free Guarantee allows you to cancel your reservations with no penalties up to 5 days prior to arrival. Cancellations made during this time will not incur any penalties as the hotel portion is refundable.

IF YOU’RE CHECKING IN SOON:
1. To receive the government-required Travel Authorization, submit a Non Resident Online Application up to 5 days prior to arrival, but no less than 2 days prior to travel.

2. All persons visiting Jamaica who are residents of the United States of America (USA), Brazil, Dominican Republic or Mexico, will be required to obtain either a COVID-19 RT-PCR or antigen test no more than 10 days prior to their intended date of travel.

The test date is considered to be day 1 and intended travel date should be no later than day 10*. Travelers will be required to present the test results as well as the travel authorization at the airport upon check-in.

For additional details on testing guidelines, accreditation and to upload the test for your Travel Authorization application, please refer to the Jamaican Tourism Board.

3. Beginning January 26, 2021, U.S. residents traveling internationally will be required to obtain a negative COVID-19 test prior to re-entry. Rest assured, Couples Resorts will provide rapid antigen testing to our guests**** free of charge, with little to no interruption to their stay. Results will be available via email within 48 hours.

Testing will be conducted on property by a contracted medical provider within three days of departure.

We understand that the CDC’s most recent guidelines are subject to change during this unprecedented time and we pledge to do our best to keep you informed with the most up-to-date information available.

All persons visiting Jamaica who are residents of Canada will be required to obtain a COVID-19 RT-PCR test no earlier than 3 days prior to their intended departure date. Prior to Jan 24, 2021, Covid-19 PCR testing will be offered in close proximity to each resort. Appointments are required. Transfers to and from the test site can be made by contacting the front desk.**

Starting Jan 24, 2021, Canadian clients can submit the online application at the dedicated Canadian portal here the lab will contact them to provide details on the testing process and to schedule an appointment. A sample will be collected at the property where the guest is staying.***

4. Register for our Romance Rewards frequent stay program here 72 hours in advance of arrival in order to pre check-in.

For direct air+hotel bookings, we can assist with flight changes but we recommend that you check with your airline regarding schedules prior to calling. *Either COVID-19 RT-PCR or antigen tests will be accepted. All tests should be performed at a medical laboratory that is accredited by the relevant national health authorities. For the United States of America, the COVID-19 RT-PCR medical laboratory should be accredited by the College of American Pathologists (CAP). All Antigen tests approved by the World health Organization/Pan American Health Organization and the FDA, will also be accepted. Samples collected using home test kits (ex. Pixel by LabCorp), along with antibody tests will not be accepted. Negative test results do not need to be uploaded when applying for a Travel Authorization, but will have to be shown, alongside the approved Travel Authorization, at check-in and again on arrival in Jamaica. Both the Travel Authorization and the Test Certificate must be valid on the date of arrival into Jamaica. The Test Certificate is valid for 10 days from the date the sample was collected and Travel Authorizations are valid for 10 days from the date of approval. Test results must be 'Negative' or 'Not Detected'. Couples encourages you to continue to check this link from Visit Jamaica for the most updated information. **Canadian clients should stay up-to-date with current rules and regulations on the Canadian government's website here. Canadian clients may pay in cash or card at the time of sample collection in Jamaica. Prior to Jan 24, 2021, transfers to and from the resorts to the testing site will be at a cost to the guest. Canadian guests should email pr@omegamedicalservicesltd.com or call 876-429-3627/876-957-9307 to make their Covid-19 PCR testing appointment. ***The lab will be able to collect samples in all the major resorts areas and will direct clients to the nearest lab location if necessary. ****Not valid on comp stays. If any guest does test positive they will be quarantined on property pending direction from the Ministry of Health. If the Ministry of Health recommends that a guest continues isolation on property, Couples Resorts will provide complimentary accommodations for two for up to 14 days.
