Excellence, and Hospitality

Pierre first arrived in Jamaica in September 1984 to assist with the openings of Wyndham New Kingston and Montego Bay. It was here that he met his late first wife, Sharon, and chose to make Jamaica his home. He went on to become a respected figure in the local and international hospitality scene, blending his European training with Jamaican sensibility—a superpower he brought to Couples Sans Souci, which flourished into a sanctuary of elegance, culture, and warmth under his longstanding leadership.

Throughout his career, Pierre has been the recipient of numerous honors, including the Jamaica Tourist Board’s Golden Tourism Day Award, Culinary Chef of the Year (multiple times), and the Tourism Service Excellence Award. He has also proudly served as Bailli of the Chaine des Rôtisseurs in Jamaica, bringing his love for fine cuisine and hospitality into prestigious culinary events.
